Download API Integration Guidelines
Authentication
Downloading models requires users to be authenticated with a Sketchfab account. This means that end-users must be able to log in with their Sketchfab account inside your application.
See the Sketchfab Login (OAuth 2.0) documentation for more information.
If you want your application to download models without end-user authentication, contact us.
Models licensing
More than 700,000 3D models are available for download under Creative Commons licenses. Most models allow commercial use. However, Creative Commons licenses require that anyone who uses the model must credit the author and the source (Sketchfab). Your app should clearly display the license of the model as well as author attribution. Typically, this includes the creator’s username and a link to the Sketchfab model.
The Creative Commons license and attribution must follow the asset everywhere it is used. If your app allows users to build and distribute their own creations to other users, the original creator attribution must be accessible to all end users. For example, if your application produces AR filters that use Sketchfab models, the end user of the filter, not just the creator of the filter, must be aware of the license and original creator.

Crediting Sketchfab
Your app must clearly mention that downloadable models are provided by Sketchfab. You can find the Sketchfab logo in our Press Kit.
