More model informationThis pagoda from the early days of the Unified Silla Dynasty has a stable and majestic form as a national treasure. It is a five-story pagoda made of stone processed into a brick shape, with an overall height of 11.30 m and a base width of 3.34 m. It was first reported to the Japanese Government-General of Korea during a field trip by Japanese scholar Kyoichi Arimitsu in the 1930s, and was introduced to the academic world in [Stone Pagoda of Joseon] compiled by Japanese scholar Nobuzo Sugiyama in 1943. It was dismantled and restored in 1980 and has been renovated several times since then to its current state.
