XRmas Tree was modified from the excellent model from alexhappy on CGTrader and assigned PBR materials and adding a few of my own 3D models over the years as ornments and presents. Model was rebaked using ‘Simple Bake’ plugin for Blender 2.8 that copied over to 2.81 without a problem and Ambient Occlusion layer added in 3D coat. From there I exported Blender as a .glb directly into Sketchfab.
If you look closely at the astronaut, you will see it is none other than the Jeff Powers, CEO of Occipital who I have fairly tight relationship over the years with more test 3D models coming from their new Mark II and my iOS app. If you not famaliar with the Mark II, head to their website to find out more. Its main advantage is being able to scan in direct daylight, and I mean like on clear sunny day, daylight. As you will see in some lava formations I scanned while was in Hawaii earlier in December 2019.
