Krzczonów - Lublin costume - Polish folk costume, from the village of Krzczonów 30 km from Lublin. The costume according to Janusz Świeży (ethnographer, artist, educator and researcher of folk culture) qualified for the costumes of Małopolska (Krzczonów belonged to the diocese of Krakow until the 19th century). The distinctiveness and colorfulness of the Krzczonów outfit meant that at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries it became a representative folk garment of the Lublin region, which is why it is popularly called the Lublin costume.
