Much like the other pulley blocks and wheels that have been recovered, it appears that there is very little in the way of standardisation for these wheels. Seventy nine have been recovered so far, all different sizes which suggests that they were all made as individual units. This particular example is in a poor condition and is likely to be made from a softer wood than many of the others.
