More model informationAn incomplete flint probable arrowhead of Neolithic-Bronze Age dating (AD 3450-1200 BC).
The artefact broadly resembles a Leaf-shaped arrowhead. It is lentoid in plan and bi-convex in section. Both the dorsal and ventral surfaces have covering scaled flaking and all edges, with the exception of the proximal, have fine low angled retouch. The proximal edge has been abruptly blunted, forming a notched aspect at its base. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake. The flint is grey in colour.
