from all of our previous lessons, we had to combine our current beginner talents into designing a room and its objects for a big assignment we had 6 weeks for to complete. we started with a basic character prompt, had to think of a backstory for them, and eventually gather reference images to put together the room we wished to make for them. though, the lighting here is worse than in Blender.
my prompt was “cowboy/cowgirl”, so i chose to make a bounty hunter and give him a nice good old wild western room with the usual stuff one needs to be a bounty hunter, plus some hints here and there about his background such as “C” being the main antagonist, a locket given by his mother and his gun which he obtained from his father.
i enjoyed making the assignment, as it challenged me to do and create much more beyond my comfort zone. i hope to learn more during the next lessons to the point i can model characters and rig them instead of just sticking to objects, so any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated!
