Boulder found in the Whitehill Head area of Sandyford Moor, ESE of Chatton, Northumberland.
Referenced on the Beckensall Archive (BA) as ‘Whitehill Head / Chatton Sandyford 1’, this motifs were recorded as “…a scatter of cups of different sizes, many interconnected by grooves to form a network.”
NADRAP Team 3 added the record to ERA in 2008 with the following description:
“Panel is well decorated with motif across the whole surface, cups and grooves varying in depth and size. The grooves interlace and link with cups in a ‘network’ but rarely cut into cup walls. Several cups have related grooves of different width.”
