The wooden hull is 11.75 feet long and 12.00 feet long overall, 3.93 feet in the beam, with a 1.33-foot depth of hold, and is painted green. The hull is comprised of thin wood strip strakes - probably cedar - joined end to end, indicating she is carvel-built. The stem consists of a trapezoidal outer stempost that is curved and attached to the keel; an inner stempost can be see under the small foredeck. A scarf is seen at the junction of the inner stempost and the keel. A centerline deck stringer is fitted over the stempost and it extends to the aft edge of the foredeck. The deadwood protrudes from the keel and runs forward, ending just aft of amidships. The vessel has a wide flat bottom with a soft chine, and the aft section of the boat has slight - nearly undetectable - tumblehome. A removable keel plank - held in place by spinning wooden clips that fit through holes in the plank - has a foot brace for a rower.
