More model informationExcavation activities were carried out in 2021 in collaboration with Archaeo Perspectives, and Römerweg OVILAVA at the Roman rural site near the ancient Roman city of Ovilavis (today’s Wels).
The interface 03 of trench 2/2021 at the Roman rural site of Waldling in Upper Austria marks the actual beginning of the excavation: after the recent plow horizon was removed by machine, the remains of the archaeological structures appeared on the underside of the same.
The model was generated by 3d photogrammetry using photos taken by a DJI Phantom 4 unmanned aerial system (UAS).
