More model informationTrench 2 (2.00 m x 2.00 m) was opened just a few meters south of Trench 1. It was opened across two large stone blocks that matched the dimensions of stone masonry used by the Illyrians and we wanted to see if they might be the top of a burried wall.
Much like trench 1, it eventualy became unsafe to continue digging down so excivation stopped here. This trench shows best how much soil has burried the old village of Nivica. Both these walls might be from small houses that once existed on the Kala.
