Torso of Artemis3D Model
A ‘luni’ or Carrara marble bust missing its head and arms. From the clothing we can recognise a tunic (chitone), tied at the waist, while a cloak(himation) is attached to the left shoulder and hangs down the back and over the left arm. A leather holster belt (balteus) goes across the chest from the right shoulder to the left side. It is these items of clothing that suggest that this is the goddess Artemis, goddess of hunting, wild animals, archery, the forest, and cultivated fields.
