He holds the reins of the horse in his left hand, while with the right one he is preparing to throw the spear to catch the hunted animal. In the right upper corner, two characters are portrayed. They were identified as Mars and Minerva. The piece was discovered in Ostrov and donated to the museum in 1938. Dated from the 2nd – 3rd centuries A.D. MATERIAL AND SIZE: Limestone; height 0.80 m, width 0.67 m, thickness 0.18 m. LOCATION: Museum of National History and Archaeology in Constanta, Romania
