Dune (screen title Dune: Part One) is an American-Canadian science fiction film co-written and directed by Denis Villeneuve, released in 2021. It is the third adaptation of the novel Dune by Frank Herbert published in 1965, after the film Dune (1984) by David Lynch and the three-episode miniseries Dune (2000) by John Harrison - not counting the aborted adaptation by Alejandro Jodorowsky in the 1970s. In order to best respect the story of the novel, the project was divided into two films. Therefore, the Dune movie is an adaptation of the first part of the novel. The film had its world premiere at the 2021 Venice Film Festival. The film was nominated for three Golden Globes1. Nominated for ten Oscars during the 2022 edition, the film received six awards, including the Oscar for best design and the Oscar for best photography. here fictional extract (SketchUP+SimLAB-Composer) https://youtu.be/NvkReuCJ8Qw
