Pontus, God of the Black Sea, is represented in the left, rising nude from the waves of the seа, looking up towards the goddess. With the right hand is leaning on a tree and with the left one on the prow of a ship. The piece was discovered in Constanta in 1962. The relief dated from the first half of the 2nd century A.D.
