The Citadel of Brasov, Romania (Photogrammetry)3D Model
The Citadel of Brasov, located on Straja Hill, is one of the city’s symbols and a popular tourist attraction¹. The fortress was initially built on Schlossberg Hill in 1524 as a watchtower made of stone and brick, shaped like a horseshoe¹. In 1625, the fortress was rebuilt, and during that period, an 81-meter deep well was dug out of the fortress court¹.
Today, the site is mostly used as a viewpoint for city panoramas². Occasionally, events such as festivals and cultural exhibitions take place inside the citadel². Please note that access to the citadel’s interior is restricted².
