Tambourine made from Torah Scroll parchment for drum head. Under the Nazi occupation, synagogues and religious objects were destroyed and holy books were desecrated. People realized that the parchments from Torah scrolls provided materials that could be used to make other items. Torah scrolls were used to make wallets, handbags, envelopes and musical instruments.
