A bowl made of straw woven like a jar. It is widely used in mountainous regions where utensils are rare. The mouth is round and the bottom is square or round. To fill the gaps inside, cow dung is applied and then mud is applied, or a paste of barley bran and mud is applied, and paper is applied inside and out. When oiled paper is applied to a chaedok, it is called an oiled poison. Dry grains such as beans, potatoes, and sweet potatoes are stored in the chaedok. Usually, about two bags of beans are contained and the weight is about 3 kg. If it is not wet with water, it can be used for about 10 years
