Summary of open source process. 1 Obtain jpg, open it using image editor (photoshop, photopea.com, GIMP) 2 Outline, then copy/paste stela into new layer, to remove b’ground 3 Clone stamp to remove edge imperfections 4 Using same outline, fill a black solid shape exactly the same. 5 Export the solid as png with transparency, and the stela as image for a texture. 6 Convert the png to an svg using online converter eg (https://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-svg) 7 Convert the svg to an stl using Tinkercad.com 8 In Sketchup, import stl (req.STL importer extension) choose ‘merge coplanar option. 9 Add stone/wood texture, then add the stela image to the appropriate side. 10 Use the Texture features to reposition for perfection (https://youtu.be/zRQcIjYVaX8?t=155) 11 Upload to Sketchfab Sketchfab Uploader extension and API 12 Adjust lighting, positioning and scale to suit, in Sketchfab. Add metadata as req’d.
