More model informationDuring the last year I have been working on a game on Unreal Engine 5 for which we have been making various environment assets in the hyperrealism style. A heavy sculpt from Zbrush becomes low-poly (by the standards of the nanite system), after which it is unwrapped and textured in the form of black and white masks. Later level-artists will overlay finished materials through these masks in the engine. I decided to make a model in this style in my portfolio to show how something interesting can turn out of simple cubes.
