A rather old now project that I wanted to make, didn’t turn out as good as I originally expected it as I kinda threw myself in it without making proper concept art for it, but still doesn’t look as bad as I thought it’d get. Model was made in blender, textures in substance painter.
The idea was that, in a place where good ammunition is scarce, or extremely expensive to get on the black market, yet you still need a powerful shot, a smith came up with the idea to make a canon based on a flintlock principle, where you have 2 large tanks of powder, any powder, and one big breach to load a projectile. The weapon’s dimensions were made to make it able to handle too much charge, and the barrel’s length was made so that even the slowest powder would still be of use. Making it a very cumbersome weapon but that can work in any situation, even without proper cartridges, or even proper powder.
