This white clay smoking pipe bowl fragment was recovered from the shipwrecked vessel, Betsy, located in the York River, off the coast of Yorktown, Virginia. It features the Royal Coat of Arms of Britain. Betsy was part of a fleet of vessels scuttled by the British in 1781.
