Sinbad was rescued with his mother as a severely underweight yearling. He was rehomed as a youngster for handling and then returned to Penny Farm, our Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Lancashire. Sinbad is now happily settled in a permanent home with his rehomer and competes in local showing shows, dressage and jumping events. His design shows the tales of the seven voyages of Sinbad the Sailor. Sinbad was part of World Horse Welfare’s Borough Trail in Windsor and Chelsea between April and August.
The master sculpture itself was created by acclaimed artist Judy Boyt based on the story of Lucas, a frozen and abandoned foal who was rescued by World Horse Welfare and has flourished into a beautiful sport horse.
