Whilst not representing any kind of elegancy, the neighbourhood model of Selwerd, in Groningen, formed my very first hands-on experience with real-life CAD modelling, and sparked my interest in this field even further. I currently find myself in between the position of a data-scientist as well as a researcher, whereas I truly chase the joy from creative tasks. Urban Design poses a highly potentious field for future developments to shape upcoming generations forever. The first thing we likely will need to get rid off for advancements to occur is the private car (accurately parked in the modelled garages). With all this metal out of our way, that is wasting space 95% of its time existing here, there is plenty available for public spaces and housing.
