More model informationQuartzite sarcophagus of Hatshepsut from when she was the Great Royal Wife of Thutmose II. Egyptian Museum, Cairo, Egypt (JE 47032). The sarcophagus was recovered by Howard Carter in 1916 from Tomb Wadi A-1 near the Valley of the Queens. Another sarcophagus was carved for her once she took the throne as king and was found in her tomb in the Valley of the Kings (KV20). This second sarcophagus can be seen here.
Created from 160 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T7i) using Metashape 1.8.4 and with cleanup and lid positioning in Blender 2.92. Photographed in January 2024.
