One of approximately 40 sculptures located in Piastowskie housing estate in Lublin. Created in the second half of the 1970s by a group of sculptors: Barbara Zbrożyna, Jadwiga Janus and Michał Leszczyński. The sculptures were inspired by drawings of children from the surrounding apartments (hence the names signed on them: Ewa, Marek, Jadzia, Ania, etc.). In reference to the name of the housing estate, scultptures were meant to represent the history of Poland during the reign of the Piast dynasty. The scenes on the sandstones are representations of kings seen through the eyes of young residents of Lublin.
