The origins of the cult of the Madonna della Delibera in Terracina (Italy) are not sufficiently documented. Nevertheless, it is certain that, in the second decade of the fifteenth century, the image of the Virgin was venerated in the precise place where it is still admired today. And it was the same one that the faithful come to visit in our day. Various indications, however, lead to believe that the cult paid there to Mary is older, perhaps by centuries.
