More model informationSant Miquel de Moror is the parish church from the town of Moror, from the municipality of Sant Esteve de la Sarga (Catalonia). It was built between the 11th and 12th centuries. The building has undergone many modifications over the centuries, but its Romanesque origin can be clearly appreciated. It is made of a single nave, covered by a canopy, with the nave divided into four sections thanks to the reinforcement of three towering arches, each with its own pilasters. The apse is semicircular, and below it there is a crypt, which contains the remains of the original murals of the church. These wall paintings were executed in fresco and its style is very similar to the wall paintings of Santa Maria de Mur, maybe painted by the same artist.
