More model informationA simple method for making a rocker table for building hollow wooden surfboards. 3/4” Plywood is used for the vertical supports that have the rocker profile from the center spine traced on and cut out. Horizonal supports of 2x4’s increase stuctural stability. A 3/8” sheet of mdf is screwed and glued to the supports and serves as the mold for building the rest of the board. With this type of table, screwed pieces of wood, weights, and rachet straps can do most of the clamping work without the need for expensive clamps.
