More model informationFragment of a Caen stone ashlar with a chamfered recess reused in the north elevation of the north nave clerestory of Rochester Cathedral. Possibly part of the c.1080 clerestory that would have been recased in Caen stone after a fire of 1137. The Romanesque clerestory was replaced by the present Perpendicular windows in the late C15th.
