In 2017 a rescue excavation on the eastern edge of the village Bořetice (South Moravia, Czech Republic) was conducted. It revealed multiple evidences of the La Téne and Roman period settlement activities including several sunken-floor dwellings with representative material. The model represents one of the complex situations archaeologically examined here. The trench of rescue excavation interferred with an Prehistoric settlement feature which was later disrupted by Celtic sunken-floor dwelling, which was subsequently superpositioned by Germanic oven. The finds from this feature were especially interesting including large metal sheet fragments of the Roman helmer of Niedermormtern type (in collection there is also model of the largest found part of the helmet).
