More model informationThe Prunkkindshal (cossackian dagger) was found 2019 during a field survey of the University of Innsbruck.
The Kindshal was made in 1904 and was of great symbolic significance. Such weapons were weared by Cossacks and other kaukasian folkgroups as parade equipement. The blade is made of damascene steel.
The Kindshal was reconstructed within the project of the virtual exhibition “Sie teilten ihr Schicksal” about the role of female Cossacks during the tragedy in Lienz (Austria) 1945. Visit our exhibition at http://ausstellung.kosaken-lienz1945.com/2020/
