More model informationModel designed with intent to fall within the mid to high poly range. The workflow for this design began with zBrush, before moving to Maya for retopology. Assets were built over the base model in Maya as well, with the stylized mane of hair created using curve deformers. The texturework was handled within Substance Painter.
Concept Inspired by the designs of the Twili from Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. I ran with the slight lovecraft and oceanic design inspirations seen in that race to create a concept of a race of elves living in a vast desert that is actually the dry seabed of what was once an ocean, making them sea elves forced to adapt, but clinging to their lineage through ocean motifs in their armor.
