PowerBook 180 laptop computer3D Model
The PowerBook 180 laptop is a portable computer made by Apple and part of the PowerBook family.
The series departs from the Apple products’ - Snow White design language. The new design concept was the work of Robert Brunner’s team, which replaced the light colours with graphite grey. Not much attention was paid to the appearance of laptops in the 1980s, and they were simple in form, block-like, and heavy. Yet, the PowerBook series of computers offered customers a device installed in a small, compact housing with a clamshell design – solution adopted from the first ever laptop computer – the Grid Compass, designed by Bill Moggridge in 1982. Rounded edges, ergonomic keyboard, centrally place spherical trackball are among those solutions adopted in the PowerBook series which set the standard for the design of modern laptop computers.
