More model informationProject program was to design a product for everyday use. Leparoscopic forceps are an existing tool used for minimally invasive surgeries, although the potential usefulness of a tiny extendable gripper are endless. This is the first of many iterations in attempt to make an everyday use pocket friendly version. It’s no wider than a pencil and 7” long, actuated by a cable mechanism instead of a stiff mechanical link like most surgical forceps, allowing the user to maintain the mechanism on their own as well as exchange the barrel for one of a different length without much difficulty
