Meet Pei Beroggan, legendary captain of the Red Hound. Initially a foray into anatomical modelling, adding a man or woman’s head to finish the piece just felt a bit… dry. So instead, I saved my progress, as much of the body and its various arms and legs were already finished, and went back to the drawing board. After several attempts, out leapt Pei - an ode to my long since deceased pet Bullmastiff, Brogan. Much of the armour was designed within a sheaf of displaced printer paper also, which I will add to this post before long. Modelling the jowls was the best bit; this required a degree of patience with edge modelling which I wasn’t aware I add, and aside from the blaster canon, which is detachable and required a bit of a clean-up after a fiddly boolean, much of the armour was a breeze. Texturing and rigging may also have been concluded in this timeline…
