More model informationThis is a pear-shaped vessel of spherical proportions with ear-shaped handles. The surface is decorated with the incised ornament in the form of spirals (so-called “snake ornament”).
Site: Khalepia settlement (Ukraine).
Cultural and chronological attribution: Cucuteni–Trypillia culture (ВІ-ВІІ/ВІІ stage (4300-3800 BC)).
Artefact is stored in the National Museum of the History of Ukraine.
The model was digitized in the course of the project “Preserving Ukrainian Legacy,” supported by the US Embassy in Ukraine (Kyiv) and the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation. It is a joint ownership of National Museum of History of Ukraine, non-profit organization “CyArk” and NGO “Scientific Research Lab “Archaic”.
