More model informationAntebrachial growth deformities (AGD) are the most common limb malformation affecting dogs. Correction is aimed at resolving conformational abnormalities in the transverse, sagittal, and frontal planes; resolving joint incongruity, when present; and maintaining or returning the limb to a functional length, if necessary. Surgical correction is performed to improve limb function and cosmesis, with the intent of preventing or mitigating the progression of degenerative joint disease in the elbow and carpus.
