Old greeko-catholic cemetery in Lupkiv was located near the church, which was destroyed in 1946. Until recently, it was not fenced and didn’t have an information sign. Several crosses on stone pedestals, as well as several wooden and metal crosses have survived to this day. The oldest cross dates to 1858. The trees grew so large that they engulfed some of the crosses, including the wooden cross and the crucifixion of Christ. The newer part of the cemetery is located mainly to the left of the church. On the hill in front of the railway station can see the remains of an obelisk of three German officers who died here during World War I in 1915. The main purpose of the project is to promote the Ukrainian cultural heritage, which after the mass evictions of Ukrainians in the 40’s and 50’s of the XX century remained in Poland borders.
