This vessel was found in a nearby shipyard. It was captured on 31/1/2018 using a Sony a6000 camera. 332 photos were processed in Agisoft Photoscan. Standard photo scales were placed at various points on the deck, and north arrow was placed on the forward deck. While the overall shape is complete, there a numerous issues - the covering in particular moved in the wind and so failed to reconstruct (there are actually no large holes in it).
We chose to record this model because it was recognised as an older style of bamboo boat construction - a worker on the shipyard later told us it was like from the 1950s. Upon inspection it was clear that it had been covered in fibreglass, which likely caused the extensive rotting and lead to it’s abandonment here.
Tie points: 205,960. Over 30 million points were processed into 1 million polygons, which were then textured and uploaded to Sketchfab.
