Outcrop on private farmland near Whitton Dean, south of Rothbury, Northumberland.
Referenced ‘North Lordenshaw 6c(ii)’ on the Beckensall Archive (BA) and described as:
“Twenty three cups, two cup and rings with exterior grooves, and one cup and groove.”
NADRAP subsequently added the record to ERA in 2008, but couldn’t make out all the motifs previously described and drawn by Stan Beckensall. This model was particularly noisy and post processing has flattened areas where motifs probably exist.

The model was created from 6 stereo pairs captured by Joe Gibson of NADRAP Team 3 in February 2006. The imagery forms part of the full NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England and Northumberland CC.
