Nickel Iron Meteorite | Meteorit haearn nicel3D ModelNoAI
Dyma un o’r miloedd lawer o ddarnau o feteorit a ddisgynnodd i’r Ddaear ar 12 Chwefror 1947, ym mynyddoedd Sikhote-Alin, i’r gogledd-ddwyrain o Vladivostok, Rwsia. Soniwyd am olau llachar yn yr awyr a sŵn byddarol i’w ganlyn. Wrth i’r meteorit gyrraedd yr atmosffer ar gyflymder o ryw 14 km yr eiliad, dechreuodd chwalu’n ddarnau. Fe wnaeth rhai darnau o’r meteorit greu craterau, gyda’r mwyaf ohonynt yn mesur rhyw 26m ar draws a 6m o ddyfnder.
This meteorite is part of the Sikhote-Alin fall, which was represented by thousands of fragments of a single meteorite. The fall occurred on February 12, 1947, approximately 440 km northeast of Vladivostok, Russia. The fall was observed as a bright light in the sky accompanied by a deafening noise. As the meteorite entered the atmosphere, at a speed of abour 14 km/s, it began to break apart. Some fragments of the meteorite made craters, the largest of which was about 26m across and 6m deep. Fragments of the meteorite shot into the surrounding trees.
