More model informationA great deep lake coved the NW corner of Nevada 12,000 years ago. People lived around Lake Lahontan and even carved mammoth images into some rocks. These rocks were part of an observatory where the positions of stars and planets were tracked by placing pebbles into indentations as sighted from slightly above another pebble. The spiral mark may mean “to infinity” or as a spiritual portal. We don’t know and some natives may still know. The rocks tell us some things.
