More model informationThis watercan or ‘Buckby can, would have sat on the roof of a working narrowboat and filled up at every waterpoint, the crooked handle suggests an altercation with a bridge at some point. It is decorated with traditional roses, and the style of the roses suggest it may have been done at Braunston, possibly by Frank Nurser himself, circa 1930-1950s, it is a very good example of the craft.
