Carved boulder on Longframlington Common, Northumberland.
Originally recorded by Stan Beckensall as ‘Millstone Burn 6f’ and as having a line of 5 cups and a midget cup, it was added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008. The NADRAP team describes:
“Identified as Millstone Burn 6f from the Beckensall Archive illustration. The rock photographed in the Beckensall Archive is of another rock which lies close to 6h (about 30m E of the true position) and is not marked. Five cup marks, between 5 to 7cm in diameter, the southernmost being oval shaped and the northernmost the largest. Corresponds to van Hoek (1991): No.9.”
