Prehistoric carved boulder near Millstone Burn on Longframlington Common, Northumberland.
This lovely looking panel is recorded on the Beckensall Archive (BA) as ‘Millstone Burn 2h’ and described as:
‘…There are three large motifs, two of which are made up of a cup and two rings, with grooves running from the central cups down the rock, almost meeting at the edge. The third motif has a cup and serpentine groove; inside an outer ring are two concentric rings, one running through a cup. The groove from the central cup reaches the edge of the rock. A cup and ring is linked by a groove to the duct of the right-hand motifs; above it is a cup. There is also an incomplete ring around a cup.
