Boulder with prehistoric carvings on Millstone Cleugh, near Millstone Burn N of Longframlington, Northumberland.
Referenced ‘Millstone Burn 1h’ on the Beckensall Archive (BA) and described as having six cups. NADRAP subsequently recorded the carving in 2006, adding it to ERA in 2008. However, they noted fewer carvings describing:
‘Small, flat, kidney-shaped boulder with one clear large cup near SW end and a possible smaller cup just to its SW.’
This model clearly shows a number of additional ‘cup-like’ depressions in the positions drawn by Stan Beckensall in the 1970s.

Model created from 5 stereo pairs captured by David Tuck (NADRAP Team 2) in April 2006. The imagery forms part of the full NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England & Northumberland County Council.
