More model informationTeaching model from the late 19th century depicting a millepede. The model was used as a tactile teaching model in the biology and natural history lessons at the Royal Institute for the Blind in Copenhagen during the second half of the 19th century. The model was handcarved from wood by the danish blind pedagogue, L.A. Guldberg i the 1860’s.
