Your Task: use the essential mesh modeling tools to modify the Cube, Cone, and Sphere primitives, adding more interest to them.
Some of the tools you might consider using: extrude, inset, bevel, loop cut, knife, edge slide. Also be sure to make use of the various selection tools (such as Edge Loop select with ALT+SELECT) and selection modes (Vertex, Edge, Face) for easier, more precise manipulation.
