More model informationThis is my entry for the MeetMat2 contest. I was heavily inspired by Shadow of the Colossus and its character design, being an environment artist myself, I wanted to approach this character as I would do with terrains, the idea was to use the new height blending tools that substance painter have and experiment with them. I wanted to pursue a realistic texture approach and see where it could take me and this is the result. I created some of the base textures and alphas in Substance Designer and photoshop but all the creative process was made inside Painter using the tools within the software. I had a lot of fun doing this contest and it was an amazing learning experience!!
